The above pictures are of our large family. When I was 17 years old, my parents bought this beautiful property. I walked to the top right corner of the 66 acres and knew I would live here someday. Six years later, my husband and I moved to this property, and now, 53 years later, we own the property and have this wonderful family. We agree that being blessed with our children, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren is the greatest accomplishment anyone could ever acquire. 

            We dream of keeping this land for our family and making it an income generator. Anyone who owns a small farm like ours understands it comes with hard work and two full-time incomes to support. We are both retired now and have the time to work towards turning the land into a working family farm providing naturally grown vegetables and Christmas trees for the community. 

Our goal is not to sell this beautiful property to a developer during our lifetimes. Who knows if our family can keep the property in the future?

         With that history in mind, five years ago, my daughter and I started Mindful Creations LLC and planted an acre garden, and last year, we completed and planted two large greenhouses. We proudly report that we sell vegetables online and at farmer's markets. We also planted Douglas Fir, Nobles, and Balsam Christmas trees five years ago. The Douglas Fir trees are now ready to harvest this year, with the Nobles and Balsams ready in the next two years. We hope to build this into an experience-type choose-and-cut tree farm. This year, we will have precut Douglas Fir trees for you to buy and a package available to get a tree, a fresh wreath, professional pictures taken by a photographer, a visit with Santa, and several activities for the kids and family. We plan to build a gift shop with ample parking and safe paths for a choose-and-cut experience. All these improvements come with hard work and financial investments. 

      We all look forward to meeting more and more of our community members as we expand and grow our family business.
